Each day Kezzie seems to be so much bigger! She is quite a barrel of monkeys right now. It's so fun to listen to her find her voice. Kinda like teaching writing...you wait and watch as students begin to explore their different styles and voices. We listen to her and laugh each day as she comes up with some new sound. Last night was the gurgle in the throat. She will suddenly discover how to make a sound and then she will repeat it over and over-giggling every once in awhile to let us know she still remembers the old stuff!
We've tried to start some kind of schedule, but she doesn't seems to be much of a schedule-child. Thankfully she goes to bed before midnight most nights. We had an 8 pm bedtime 3 nights in a row once. It was pretty amazing:) Last night she wouldn't go to sleep so she came out and watched Bud and I play Settlers. Then she was magically perfect...strange how that happens. We love her to pieces though.
We've started the packing process once again and Tuesday we plan to leave. Bud is excited to start school once again and I'm excited to unpack all our stuff again:)

One of my favorite memories as a kid was listening to my dad read stories. He would put such passion into Green Eggs and Ham that I can't help but read it the same way today. He still reads with the same passion and zest; I think Kezzie is developing a love for reading the same way I did:)

Kezi's first Christmas. I'm pretty sure she didn't understand the whole concept of opening presents. Maybe next year:)

It's the holiday season!
Yummy...I'll have a few of those cookies over there.

Hanging out with Great Grandpa Boluyt...handing out free kisses!

Hello world.
The reason JC Penney is a better option? Try taking your own holiday pictures...

Hey mom, looking good:)
Just relaxing...did you want me to do my thinker pose? Will I be wearing my underwear in the holiday shot this year?
Something is way cooler than the camera...Thanks for finally putting some clothes on me!
Hee hee...you think your getting good shots because I'm smiling...little do you know my underwear is showing:)

Continued...
Alright, we'll need the mouth closed...Mmmm...this tastes good...
Okay Kez, look up at the camera...

Can we get a little smile? No? No smiles for this silly looking machine?
Okay, this one will have to do:)

So this is her bed where she should be sleeping. Of course she would rather play.
Then I take her out to play and she falls asleep. I don't understand this kid:)

Poor kid...she was completely exhausted and we were trying to dress her up to keep her warm. She just gave up the fight and fell into the "I'm just going to ignore you and maybe you will go away" sleep.

Obviously she is not all that interested in the baking tips I have for her.

Kezia is growing very well. So well that someone the other day guessed that she was 6 months!!! YIKES! I had to tell the lady that actually she is only 10 1/2 weeks. We went to the doctor last week and she was 12 lbs. 4 oz. so he said she is doing very well. While eating may not be a problem, sleeping at the right times is still a bit confusing for her. She is a night owl and when she wakes up at 7 am, it is only to grab a bite to eat before settling down for the 2nd half of her sleep!

Sometimes I just can't decide which picture is the cutest; thankfully this computer is really fast at uploading pictures:)

Her first Thanksgiving Day hike!
Kezie intently studies the screen while Bud studies...oh, wait, he is NOT studying!! He's playing a computer game...hmmm...she seems to be enjoying it at least.

Sarah's wedding.

If only this happened at night:)

Happy Days...
Smiling...
Laughing...
and just plain being cute...
