One Crazy Fight Night...

The Winner!!!!
Master of the Couch...let no pillow remain unturned was her motto.

She knows EXACTLY what that does.
Squishing mom.

Bud LOVES to play "Fight Dad" with Kezzie and get her all riled up right before bed. Must be a dad thing.
I will close my eyes if I want to.
Hours of fun. Good thing we buy toys.
My favorite time of the night.

I think Kezzie had most of the pie.
Mom at my school.

Spending some quality, last-minute time with gramps and granny.
Thanksgiving:)
Apparently we don't all learn the first time. I'm pretty sure I had lessons in this as a child. And then I'm pretty sure this woman was my home ec teacher. And then I got a personal, at-home lesson again on Thanksgiving day. And then I still had to call her with follow-up questions. Sewing may not be in my genes...but I'm still gonna try:)

Just the girls.

Our future hairstylist...oh no, not my kid, trust me:)

Giving cousins Trent and Trav some very gooey kisses:)

Grandma and Grandpa Swann came to visit!!!

This same carriage pulled Mayor Nutter through the streets of Philadelphia during the Thanksgiving day parade just days later. Hope the tourguide Ron vacuumed it out first, or the mayor may have found some stray goldfish!
Grandpas and grandmas read the best stories.

She's Walking!

Just a few hours after showing us that she really did know how to walk, Kezzie attempted to go down the steps in her new adult-mode. Adult intervention stopped any catastrophes.
This is her second breakfast.
And she's loving it!
Never thought I would have a picture of one of our Cambodian students holding my child! Jean and her friend Christine came for a visit. Kezzie loved the attention.

Trying the Fall Photo

She was instructed to sit nicely for the photo.
But the little stool was too much of a temptation. So we moved up to the chair. She is taking me pretty seriously now.
Okay, we are starting to lose focus here with the edible props.
And the game is pretty much over:(

What would you do for a free burrito?

We tried to give Kez some hair, but she just wasn't feeling up for it. Although she didn't seem to mind some of the free burrito.
Some friends of ours told us that Chipotle (a GREAT little restaurant) was offering free burritos to anyone who came in on Halloween dressed as a burrito. We took the creative liberties to assume this just meant, use aluminum foil and be creative. So for the small price of aluminum foil, we all saved 7 bucks. Plus, we had the quacamole (hey, this isn't SoCal anymore, they charge 1.40 for a little slap of that!). AND, because they guy was so impressed with our creativity, we got free drinks as well. Not bad! We walked in the store, kind of assuming we would be the only crazies there...but lo and behold, there were other kindred spirits. Most people weakly attempted to look like a burrito by wearing a foil hat...sad. But out little group decided to embrace the event; we had a Jedi, a fancy gentleman, a vested man with a LARGE belt, Miss Burrito, fake-haired Jane, and Harry Potter. Plus two little sidekicks who just wanted to food (you can guess which two those were).

Sick Little Girl:(

But she still thinks her video is funny! Guess it can't be that bad.

More Pumpkin Patch

Just can't decide which one to eat first.
Sitting pretty with the girls from church.

Learning to share. Just wish I had a picture of what happened when Nora didn't give it back to her right away. She was signing "Please, please, please" and couldn't quite understand it!
The whole gang.

Picking out her first pumpkin.

Pumpkin Patch Time

The tractor ride out to the patch.
Playing with her friends.

The 500 pound pumpkin; you could buy it for 275 dollars! Sort of a sad looking shape though. Kez was in the middle of a sneeze on this pic:)

The firetrucks Kezzie got to see up close and personal. The alarm woke her up from a nap; I thought it was just a false alarm (the other building has had a few of those) so I took her outside without any socks on, just a blanket wrapped around her. Ended up to really be a fire so we had to huddle around for an hour...I didn't look like mom-of-the-year, but we were able to stay warm in a friend's apartment. Thankfully everyone was okay and our building didn't burn down! Kezzie was quite impressed with all the noise and comotion and even told the one of the fireman "Thank-you!"

New Toys

Her look of astonishment.

The much anticipated riding toy finally arrived. We went with the firetruck theme, mainly because the princess was a little obnoxious. Plus, the fire trucks were at the house the night before, and Kezzie can make the sound, so she has been having quite a bit of fun with the two noise buttons.
