April Heat Wave...

Easter Sunday. More Easter photos coming soon:)

Well, it's hot again. Today is supposed to be 90. And what happens in April when it's 90? That's right...we head to the beach. So we have the back packed and we are geared up to go. Kezie's friends Marlowe and Ellis are coming again, so we should have lots of fun pics!

We've been taking LOTS of walks lately. For some reason this look seems to crack everyone up.

Spring Break Michigan Trip

Kezie was very excited to see Bud again. He had a little surprise at home; he was watching a gecko. Kezie has been fascinated by this little guy ever since!

Spring is in the air!

Today was 63 degrees! Awesome weather for walks and park visits. It has been really nice all week, but there are still some small piles of snow in places (Kezie discovered most of those piles and found great delight in "transferring" the snow to other locations).
The running around paid off...she took TWO naps today:)

A lesson in the making. Three times she has tried to climb up the slide backward. All three times have ended in tumbles backward down the slide. Twice the head has contacted the bottom of the slide. Twice she has produced big alligator tears. Yet, she still tries it! I'm sure she'll be at it again tomorrow!

Finally we're there!

She was running too fast when she tried to tackle the ball. Clearly she missed!

Some things have changed from last year. Kezie is MUCH faster now and does a great job entertaining herself at the park. She can now go down the slide on her own and climb up on the merry-go-round. But I guess not all things can change. This will be yet another summer of heavy woodchip consumption!

Look at that serious face. She's gearing up for her big adventure.

Her new favorite word is "Weeeee!"

It may not look like she's having fun, but really she is singing very intensely right here!

If we dress like summer, it will come!

Another NJ Visit and Sledding!

It's one thing to have the bad hair day, but she has to be dramatic about it too. She can't just take a normal picture, as soon as the flash goes on her face crunches up and she gets cheesy!

Kezie and Judah were litte buddies all weekend.

We went to the new house so we could do some sledding in the backyard. The kids had a blast!

Bud was not planning on sledding, which explains the button down shirt and vest.

Selah and Kezie stayed hydrated with heavy doses of snow consumption.

I never saw Mary as a little girl, but I'm pretty sure that is a spitting image.
