Uncle

There is something about "Uncle" that Kezie just loves. Having 36 (as of today, congrats Mark and Heather!) nieces and nephews, Nate has taken the title of being solely "Uncle" to some of his nieces and nephews. When you are number 13 in a family, you need to do something to single yourself out. Nate's claim to fame in the wee world is that he will always be Uncle. I love hearing the chipper little voice say "Hi Uncle" when he comes home from work!

Is it really July?

So I meant to post at least once during the month of June, but it seems to have disappeared somehow! We are keeping quite busy up in Canada this summer. Kezia was the flower girl in Aunt Jessy's wedding in May. Here are a few shots:
There was no such thing as walking down this aisle; Kezie did a full-out run!
Funny face time!

April was a busy month!

Favorite picture of the month. Aunt Ashley bought Kez some crayons for the bathtub. Some adults in the house really enjoyed them:) The directions were in Spanish so I didn't quite get the technical words...and the Beeke Bums Only sign is still in our tub. Apparently the crayon does not just wipe off with water:) Chemicals required.
Today I heard a ridiculous amount of giggling coming from Kezia's room (Bud had gone in to get her up from a nap). Then I heard "Mommy! Mommy!" and meandered over to the room. This is what greeted me! Two little/big monkeys in the crib. I don't know who thought it was funnier: Bud or Kezie!
Diligently calling grandma.
Happy camper!
Park days.
Kezie has been reading like it's going out of style. She can read for hours! Seriously, if someone is willing, it will go on for a LONG time. I love it:)
I know this may seem rare to most of you, but indeed, this is a picture on our blog that does NOT include Kezie. We just thought the church looked pretty cool one night!
Cousin Marc could not escape the reading frenzy. Between the reading and crackers, he became one of her favorite buddies!
Toe-curling funny!
April showers require some exploring!

Ocean City here we come!

Life is good!
One of the few beachgoers who enjoys the seagulls.
Kezie and Nora: not only conscious of the sun's harmful effects on the eyes...but also stylish.
Hmm...very similar to last year's beach scene.
Just warming up for the 2010 beach season.
Here is the gang: Ellis, Kezia, Nora, and Marlowe.
The girls were very impressed with Marlowe. But who wouldn't be with a smile like that?

So this is the next stage in our lives. I'm not really sure Kezie has mastered the concept here, but the clown really seemed to enjoy the stories.

More Easter Pics...

Kezie and Marlowe had matching outfits...so we couldn't resist some pictures:)

April Heat Wave...

Easter Sunday. More Easter photos coming soon:)
Well, it's hot again. Today is supposed to be 90. And what happens in April when it's 90? That's right...we head to the beach. So we have the back packed and we are geared up to go. Kezie's friends Marlowe and Ellis are coming again, so we should have lots of fun pics!
We've been taking LOTS of walks lately. For some reason this look seems to crack everyone up.
The matching duo.

Out with the Cold!

I think the warm weather is finally here to stay! This is what happens when Kezie puts them on herself!
One of our last indoor play dates (hopefully!).
The future of music...
You can't get much happier than this!

Spring Break Michigan Trip

All ready for Grandpa and Grandma's...only to come back home and wait another day:(
Uncle Dave and Kez are number one!

Great-grandpa gets lots of kisses

The long-awaited tractor ride!

But Kezie really liked the big tractor!
Trying to find goldbug...

Getting ready for baseball season already!
Sandy got lots of Kezie-love!
Not sure if Kezie liked her first Happy Meal in the airport!
But she sure did like the fries!
Kezie was very excited to see Bud again. He had a little surprise at home; he was watching a gecko. Kezie has been fascinated by this little guy ever since!
