Debby Downer!

Tropical Storm Debby certainly dampened our trip to Florida but didn't ruin it. Thankfully we were going to visit with friends, not hit the beaches. Owen didn't seem to care either way.
Mom, Sandy, and Ashley. Sandy never seems to age:)
Owen's playpen at the airport. Owen is not a cuddly boy, but he fell asleep in my arms three times on this trip:) That made the whole trip worth it!

Florida in the month of June

Kezzie and Grandma playing church on the airplane. I think Kezzie sang about 50 percent of the trip.
Owen enjoyed looking out the windows. He was such a little trooper!
Hellas bakery in Tarpon Springs with our great friend Sandy.
And this is what happened most of the time we were there! We were flooded in at Sandy's house for an afternoon and had to wait for low tide before we could float home.
But when the sun did come out...we played!
Spending some time with Grandma Zank. It was so great to see her again. She hasn't changed a bit since I was a little kiddo!

And for the last three months...

Although she doesn't know what it means, Kezzie likes to randomly throw out the phrase "I'm so bored." It's quite humorous, especially when you ask her to define boredom. She is becoming quite independent now, and I will often hear her in another world with her dolls and stuffed animals. This is her newest position for reading and playing the computer. The look on her face makes me realize that my little girl is growing up so fast.

Men of the house.

March should never be considered too early for a freezie.

The silly side.

"Past my bedtime? Never heard of the phrase." Some of Owen's greatest giggle times are when he is long overdue for bed.

Pretty soon I think he may be too big to sit on her lap.

Guess what sort of gifts Grandma brought home from Florida!

Watching the rain never gets boring.

Uncle Jeff (Juffer), Aunt Lena, Heather, Joe, Leah, Emma and Aron came down for a visit and we took a trip to the butterfly exhibit. Owen was such a sport:)

Okay, maybe he wasn't really enjoying this one. But hey, at least a moth is a little more manly than a butterfly.

So big...so soon.

"And I could eat this too Mom!"

Kezzie's stories occasionally shock Owen.

Uncle Harry, Aunt Kerry and Bethy came down for a fun visit!

Love those happy, bonding moments!

Crazy Uncle Dave! Kezzie loves when he babysits; she always seems to have something sugary when he is over;)

Owen may look innocent, but he was trying to eat Ellie's sock just moments before.

Cousin Marc and I never dreamed of the day we would be taking photos with our kiddos!

A trip to Detroit to see our newest family member Elliana!

Kezzie and Bethy had SO much fun together. Makes me wish we lived a little closer.

Winter didn't last long this year, just long enough for a few good snowmen.

Evie and Kezzie. This is going to be trouble...I can already see it:)

It is so hard to get a good picture of Owen. Every time the camera is in his face, his eyes widen and he freezes!

When you cannot decide which book to read, you read them all. An hour and a half later she was done reading them all!

Owen can watch Kezzie all day long, but I think he enjoys her more from a distance.

One morning I went down for my run and was greeted by this wonderful picture (see below). I asked Kezzie who it was and she said "Juffer." Later she added the rest of his family to make the picture complete.

Bud and Kezzie love to play hide and seek. One night, while seeking, Bud walked in to find this:) Creativity at its best. Gotta love it!

Kezzie learning some cooking skills from Grandma. I can only hope she takes after her Grandma in this area...and not her mom!

Christmas with the Beekes!

I think her smile tells you how much fun she has with her cousins Kayla, Victoria, and Meliah

I don't do morning photo shoots. That's all there is to it!

Kezzie was pretty sure Grandma was making a giant frog for dinner. I guess turkey and frog look similar when it comes down to it.

Watching Daddy work.
