Kezie and her dogs

Kezie is fascinated with dogs. She can hear a dog barking miles away; suddenly she will straighten out her back, turn her head, almost visually perk up her ears and appropriately "woof" to let the dog know she can hear him. The stuffed dog get her excited, but nothing compared to seeing one in the flesh. Her legs bounce up and down and she claps and grins away. She doesn't mind giving or receiving huge slobbery dog kisses...sometimes to her mother's dismay.

Peering out Great-grandma Boluyt's window to look for birds and deer.
She was so excited to see Sandy. Look at how she checks out Sandy's tongue:)

In case you were wondering, I won't always be posting so many videos...but Bud is in Canada and we are in Michigan so I have to show him all the cute little updates on Kezzie:)

Mobil Moments

Well, the fun has begun...someone learned how to crawl last night and is having a grand little time with her newly discovered freedom. I think we have a lot of redecorating to do once we get back to the apartment!

This wasn't the video I wanted, but it takes so long to upload these things that this is what you are going to see:) This is Kez having her afternoon snack.

This is what we strive for here in the Beeke family...a swimsuit that perfectly matches the swimming pool. Kezia was really happy about it.
When I first thought of getting a pool for Kez, I envisioned long summer days basking in the sunshine while Kezzie happily played with her little pool toys. Reality was, after a few moments of this blissful smiling and splashing in the outdoor tub, she discovered that if she leaned over far enough, another world awaited her. The amount of grass and sand she has consumed rivals any horse. I think she may be a farmer; she finds it unbelievably rewarding to pick out her blade, pluck it up with her round fingers, stare at it long and hard to make sure it is perfect and stuff it into her mouth to chew. Usually she ends up sucking on her fist for a bit until she can actually get the blade(s) in, but she doesn't seem to mind that either. Leaves, sandals, and suntan lotion bottles also tempt her taste buds. Needless to say, my tan isn't looking so good.
Uncle Dave tells me my future is really bright. I'm thinking fashion.

Fun at Grandma & Grandpa's house

"Sigh...Could you please stop taking pictures and hand me some food?"
Adam wanted to know how many channels she could pick up with her antennas. He doesn't have a taste for 9 month old fashion:)

Bathtime Fun

Kezzie is at the stage in life that she must grab everything and explore the entire world. Right now she is pretty fascinated with tap water. She can't grasp how she slowly brings her hand up to grab the water and boom...her hand goes right through it. It's quite funny to watch!

Mother's Day

At the Zoo...

Randy, Tyler, Bud and Kezzie
Kez wasn't so sure about the whole petting zoo idea.
She had a little stare-down with the sheep.

Kez had her first guitar lesson the other night. From the sounds of it she is going to be a head-banger!

Head to the Beach!

We had a little heat wave here a few weeks ago and it was 90 for 4 or 5 days in a row. Jeanette (a friend from church) called me up on Monday morning and said, "I have a crazy idea. Do you want to take the kids to the beach? If it is going to be 90 in April we may as well go to the beach." After thinking about it for .0001 of a second I said sure! It took about 2 hours to get there (we went to New Jersey), but it was worth it!
Kez getting ready to go!
Alright! First beach shot! She was soaking up the shade under the umbrella (which did blow away once and nearly landed in a bathing woman's stomach...she was in a very bad location because a few hours later she was nearly hit again...with someone else's umbrella).
Kezzie's friends Marlowe (almost 1) and his brother Ellis (3).
I think under all those rolls she may have some great little muscles!
While Marlowe loved the water (making a bee-line for it every few seconds), this shot sums up Kezzie's fun at the beach. She was so excited for the sand...and ate her fair share of it! Overall she had a great first-time beach experience.

Beach-take 2

Kez and Marlowe

Look at those rolls:)
Three carseats in the back of the car...no problem! After a day at the beach, these are some tired kids!

Looking Pretty!
