Updating begins...

Okay, okay, so I am a little behind in the blogging. Four and a half months really fly by when you are having fun. These are the last few months in Philly and then our move to Grand Rapids. Since our move to GR we have lived with my parents for a few months, Bud went to Canada to work a few weeks, Kezzie and I joined him later to celebrate the wedding of Nate and Jess, we came back to GR, went on vacation with my family, moved into the new house, Bud got a full-time job, and, funny enough, today is the due date of baby number two. His appearance today seems very unlikely:)

So here are some pictures:

Philly Bucket List Item #1: Longwood Gardens
The gardens were in full bloom!

Kezzie really enjoyed the kid gardens.

And of course it wouldn't be a trip to the gardens without her buddy Geneva. She still talks about the gardens with Geneva.
This was a piano made out of wood from Walden Pond. The side listed the different types of wood used. It was a pretty awesome piano; I can only imagine what Steinway & Sons would sell that baby for!
Kezzie was into the spirit of the royal wedding and came out of her room one day as a "princess." She now has a direct correlation of bride and princess:)

One of our last little playdates. Kezzie really misses AnnaKate:(
Easter Sunday.
Kezzie's first Easter Egg Hunt. Bud and I knew she would be a novice at this, so we tried to practice at home before going (hey, Havah and Amelie are experienced Easter Egg Hunters...we didn't want her blown out of the water). But alas, the spirit of competition has not yet been awakened in her. She thought one egg was just great. I'm pretty sure we are supposed to cherish this time of her life;) Then she discovered that there was chocolate inside the eggs and the fun entered a whole new level. It took her a few days to realize that the Easter eggs do not actually continue producing chocolate and once it's gone, it's gone. That was a rather sad moment for her.
